Horsington Church School fundraising youth market
Horsington Church School is organising its own youth market in Cole's Yard this weekend to raise funds towards refurbishing the classrooms. Hot drinks and soup, savoury and sweet nibbles, handmade arts and crafts will be for sale.
Wincanton has voted to keep free parking [at point of use]
Wincanton's car parks will remain free at the point of use after the Town Council voted overwhelmingly to honour the result of the town-wide survey it undertook during the week leading up to the 18th October.

In 2020, Wincanton Silver Band will be celebrating 130 years of music-making in Wincanton. On Sunday 22nd September, the band is holding a “Meet the Band” event at which you can have a go at playing some of the instruments and listen to a short concert from the band.

The budding Wincanton climate change group had a successful first meeting on 15th July, but it still needs a few more champions to build out the model, so if you're interested in getting involved, the next meeting is this Thursday 15th August.
A new 3km running course around Wincanton Sports Ground
