Furnicare, the South Somerset charity who collect unwanted household items and sell them at low prices to people on low incomes via their depots in Chard and Yeovil, plans had planned to open a new depot in Wincanton as soon as suitable premises can could be found.
What is the RING AND RIDE Community Accessible Transport Scheme?
We are a transport scheme using minibuses and serving the towns of Wincanton, Bruton, Castle Cary and surrounding villages. The CAT bus is available to people of all ages who live on a normal bus route but are unable to use it because they have mobility difficulties.
