A Free Textile Workshop at the Balsam Centre

The world is marking the 100th anniversary of the outbreak of the First World War and over the next few months Wincanton will be considering the impact of World War One on its community. There will be a variety of opportunities to be involved. Watch this space!

Your first opportunity starts on Tuesday 29th April at the Balsam Centre. Come and take part in a Textile Workshop from 10.00am-12.00pm for six weeks. Learn of the names on the Roll of Honour, which is held at the Parish Church in Wincanton, and consider life 100 years ago.

Learn new skills and techniques and meet others whilst making textile art that will form part of an exhibition in July.

The workshops are free and everyone is welcome.
