Arts & Crafts - Are You Interested?

Sometimes you have a feeling that you would like to try something arty, perhaps for yourself or perhaps for something to do with your children. Or maybe you work with children and would like another string to your bow.

A First Steps course in Arts and Crafts might just be the thing you are looking for. No previous experience required, just enthusiasm. There will be eight sessions, during which you will cover drawing in pencil and charcoal, creating textures in paint, using acrylic paint, making felt and hand embroidery.

The course starts on Wednesday 27th April at the Balsam Centre, Wincanton between 1.00pm and 3.00pm.

Tutor Amanda Bee has run a number of these courses in other areas and says "this type of course is usually the first step for learners who then go on to join one of the large choice of art and craft courses available in the area".

The course will cost £52 or for those for whom concessions apply it will be just £8.
