Children doing arty stuff

The BearCat Collective is a group of artists and musicians coming for a day of fun at the Balsam Centre on Sunday 22nd September, from 12.00 noon to celebrate World Peace Day.

The aim of this event is to provide a space for music, poetry, art, story-telling, games or any other form of shared entertainment that we can all enjoy; although the day is about peace the subject matter is down to the individual.

Anyone wishing to perform, please contact BearCat Glenn .

In their collection of tents and stands you will find live music, talks on friendly fungus, craft workshops, face painting, henna body art, the tiny play tent for tiny people and kids cabaret. Do you have clothes, books, toys or a glut of veg you'd like to swap? Then bring them to the big swap shop and swap them for something you do want - totally free. Or if you have nothing to swap you can put a donation in the hat.

The Balsam Kitchen will be selling burgers/veggie burgers, cake, ice-cream, teas and coffees. Entry to the event is free.

For more information, call 01963 31842 and speak to Lynn or Annette.
