We are pleased to announce our new "Hotter" shoe department – a room dedicated to ladies Hotter Comfort Concept footwear, this being our biggest selling brand – by far.

We cannot stock every style, shade and size but do endeavour to give a comprehensive selection from their catalogue, and can often order those we do not have in stock.

Now the Autumnal weather is upon us, our customers are starting to set aside their sandals and sales of boots are increasing at an encouraging rate.

Long casual Riding Boots are very much to the forefront in style and various shades of brown are the most prominent colours.

The latest style to arrive is this "Aviator" style boot from Tamaris in waxy leather and suede combination upper with buckle trims and full wool linings.

In the Gents department "casual" is still the main theme from manufacturers such as Padders and Hush Puppies, with brown waxy leathers and nubuck upper material being most popular because of comfort and ease of maintenance.

Classic all leather formal shoes are always in demand and we aim to keep a selection of traditional brogues, oxfords and moccasins in stock all year round.

With Christmas only...hmmmm ...not many weeks away, we have displayed a comprehensive range of both men's and ladies' slippers. It's surprising how popular and acceptable the traditional present of a pair of cosy slippers still is!

Our web site at www.sydneybrockandson.co.uk  has now been up and running for about 6 months and while we do not sell online, this has proved a very useful marketing too and an extension of our shop window, generating enquiries and mail order from far and wide.
