Camera Club Honours Past Chairman
Tuesday 28 September 2010, 12:29
By Lachlan Fraser
Wincanton Camera Club gathered last Wednesday for the first meeting of the new season. Members agreed that an honorary post of Life Vice Chairman should be established to recognise meritorious service to the Club over a number of years. Jim Eastaugh, the outgoing chairman, was unanimously approved as the first person to be granted this honour.
A scroll commemorating the occasion was handed to him by the current chairman, Tony Cole. The Club welcomes photographers of any ability, meeting fortnightly at 7.30pm in the Adult Education Centre at King Arthur's School. The programme of meetings is published at www.wincantoncameraclub.co.uk.
