Car Deliberately Damaged in North Street

On 29/6/2010 overnight a resident's vehicle was damaged whilst parked in North Street, Wincanton. The vehicle had being keyed down the nearside panels between the hours of 6pm and 0030. We are appealing for any witnesses that may have seen or heard anything in reference to this damage, and police patrols are being carried out in this area on a regular basis.

PCSO Jenny Maynard says: 'This is a residential area and people who live in the town have to park here. This reckless damage will not be tolerated in Wincanton and I urge anyone with any information to come forward to help us deal robustly with this incident'.
