Charlton Croquet Club Gala Dinner

Charlton Croquet Club based in Charlton Horethorne (between Sherborne and Wincanton) is in its 5th year with over 40 members and it has now signed a 10 year lease on the ground on which it has been playing. In order to improve the ground and the facilities, a fund-raising campaign has been launched and, as part of this initiative, a fantastic Gala Dinner is being held on Friday 14th October at Charlton Horethorne Village Hall.

This sports-orientated Dinner has, as its special guest, Mr. Bruce Critchley (Sky Sports Golf Commentator), who will answer questions from golf fans on the professional circuit and its stars. There will also be a Charity Auction of fabulous sporting items and memorabilia including a tour of the Weymouth and Portland National Sailing Academy during the warm-up races for the 2012 Olympics, miniature cricket bats signed by Somerset and Durham international cricket stars, tickets to Wincanton Races and to Yeovil Town Football Club, a round of golf at a local golf club - and many more!
