Hand-balancing, aerial acrobats, juggling, whip-cracking and funny dogs are things you could see in a talent show on TV, but what is even better? To see it LIVE! To see the talent so close up that normally only the judges can see them. This is now possible because Circus Ginnett is coming to Wincanton from 15th until 19th August 2012 with a brand new show!

The circus will be situated at Wincanton Sports Ground, Wincanton BA9 9RA.

Showtimes:

Wed 15th August 19.00
Thurs 16th August 15.00 and 19.00
Fri 17th August 18.00
Sat 18th August 14.00 and 17.00
Sun 19th August 14.00 and 17.00

Last year one of the UK's oldest traditional circuses reopened their Big Top again after a long break and it was a great success.

"Lovely show folks, the little one loved it too. Can I say the small things count too like the way we were welcomed, you are all a friendly bunch and that is a bigger bonus. Of course the show was brilliant too!"

This was just one of the many positive reactions we had about the 2011 show. So Circus director Patrick Austin decided to continue his 200-year-old family tradition with a brand new show with new international artists.

Lights off, spot on, let the show begin! In a one-and-a-half hour show Circus Ginnett presents to you for the first time in England clown BAZ! Irish clown Baz is the fourth generation of his family performing in circus and he has smuggled all his craziness into the UK.

Patrick is back with his police dog Vader. With his hilarious antics, Vader is preventing Patrick stealing the jewellery in the roof of the Big Top. Together they will make you fall off your chair with laughter.

Then Anke from The Netherlands will make her entrance to collect her jewellery. Sparkling high in the roof of the Big Top she will amaze you with elegance and grace in her aerial ring. All without a safety net!

All the way from Switzerland and Bulgaria, Sylvia and Bobby came to work with Circus Ginnett for their 2012 season. Bobby's hand balancing requires hard training and concentration but his comedy juggling character 'Ricky' doesn't seem to know how to keep it serious. When we see Sylvia high in her silks she almost makes us forget how dangerous her profession is.

The mix of sizzling excitement, perfectionism and up-tempo humour await you in the latest production of Circus Ginnett. The result is a smooth-running fun-filled performance that captivates the audience from beginning to end. A show that once again proves that circus art is valued entertainment for all ages!

The long family history and the friendly image makes Circus Ginnett truly unique entertainment. As soon as you step into our big top you will feel the magic called circus.

Come and enjoy what the traditional circus still has to offer!
