Diamond Jubilee Picnic - A Gallery of Photos

Local residents gathered at Wincanton Recreation Ground on Monday 4th June to celebrate the Queen's Diamond Jubilee with a very British picnic. Visitors arrived laden with picnic baskets, bunting and flags and enjoyed a happy occasion with friends and family.

Face-painting artist Nicola Spinney from Delightful Faces transformed children's faces into a patriotic sea of red, white and blue, whilst photographer Lisa Woolford captured the special moment in time with a vibrant series of images.

Lisa lives and works as a photographer in Wincanton, having turned a lifelong interest into a thriving business.
