Elroi Manor September Shindig is on Saturday 8th
Join us on 8th September, 12 noon till late, for our fundraising fete, to enable our residents to enjoy even more fun days out. We would love it if as many of you as possible would enjoy the day with us.
We will have a bouncy castle, barbeque, ice cream van, stalls, side shows and games. There will be music and theatre provided by local talents, and a spiritual area where you will find Danielle from Glastonbury doing readings, a crystal reader and massage.
At Elroi Manor we specialise in dementia care and mental health. So far this summer our residents have enjoyed several outings, including fish and chips and visits to Dobbies in Shepton Mallet, ice creams in Weymouth, and picnic lunch and safari at Longleat. We have also had many barbeques in our grounds, trips to MacDonald's and afternoon teas under the Elroi Oak. We are hoping to fit in a few more barbeques before the end of summer.
Any money we are able to raise will go towards more fun outings for our residents who benefit so much from these visits. Many of our local businesses have kindly donated fabulous prizes to be won in our raffle. We have ordered sunshine and are planning lots of fun for children in our children’s area.
We are now busy planning our Autumn/Winter outings and events, of which we hope there will be several.
