Madonna, in EvitaOn Saturday 20th February at 7.30pm, Charlton Horethorne Village Hall will come alive to the sights and sounds of the musical EVITA, courtesy of Wincanton Film Society. Come and join us for a thoroughly entertaining evening. Come on your own, bring a friend, or make up a table. The bar will be available throughout the evening to sample some Argentine wines, and there will be the opportunity to sample some typical street food during the interval.

EVITA charts the life and death of Eva Peron, from poverty to power, and is full of toe tapping music and clever lyrics. Tickets £8 from Charlton Horethorne Village Stores or 01963 220411. Proceeds from the evening will be donated to the Lukan Fund, for the refurbishment of St Luke's Catholic Church in Wincanton.
