A couple of changes this month. Unfortunately Emma and Joy of Ham Street Produce are unable to attend this Friday due to a very close family bereavement.

Pure Pigs will bring fresh eggs, Pru of Old Castle Farm Pork will be able to cover with her pork produce and Fran of Simply Cooking has plenty of ready meals (without horse) as well as delicious cakes, brownies, tiffin and flapjacks

Adrian of Meze Meze thankfully is fully recovered but I expect his sun tan has faded now.

Taylors Coaches will be filling in a slot as a guest stall, unusual for a farmers’ market but may be of interest to some.

So this Friday we shall have 10 stalls:

  • Tim of Fussells Fine Foods, with rapeseed oils, mayonnaises and dressings.
    Fussells Fine Foods
  • Janet, Mere Fish Farm with fresh and smoked trout.
    Mere Fish Farm
  • Jonothan, North Perrott Fruit Farm, with apple and pear juice and the last of Somerset Apples.
    North Perrott Fruit Farm
  • Terry of Pure Pigs with lamb, beef, goat and their excellent fresh chicken and cooked ham.
    Pure Pigs
  • Fran, Simply Cooking, with her home baked cakes, flapjacks, brownies, 'yummy' tiffin and savoury meals such as Fish Pie, Steak & Kidney Pie, and Bobotie.
    Simply Cooking
  • Matthew or Sean from Taylors Traditional Bakers from Bruton with fresh artisan bread, Multiseed, Sunflower, Soda, Granary, Tiger Bread, croissants and large tea cakes.
    Taylors Traditional Bakers
  • Gould's cheese from Somerset with their traditional hard cheeses, flavoured cheddars and 'real' butter. Thankfuly they had a better market last time.
    Gould's cheese
  • Adrian of Meze Meze with his Greek range of sweets and savouries including Tzatziki, Mousakka, Souvlakia and Sinach and Feta Pie.
  • Pru of Old Castle Farm with her home grown pork, sausages and bacon.
  • Taylors Coaches, a guest slot not to be confused with Taylors Bread!

You are welcome to stay for a coffee in the Bear Inn and to use their free parking through the archway.

Our next market will be on Friday 5th April, (Spring!) same time, same place with maybe a new stall.

Hope to see you this Friday

Janet
