Since retiring to Wincanton twenty years ago after a career in motor engineering and management, former Wincanton mayor Frank Foster has turned his attention to picture framing. Being something of a perfectionist this is something he loves doing.
Technically Frank has equipped himself well and perfected his skills to cut and fit frames, glass and mounts with precision. More than that he takes great pleasure in helping his customers choose the right frame and mount to enhance their work.
Most customers who bring him work find they are able not only to discuss and choose mounts and frames on the spot, but are welcome to sit, watch and chat while he carries out the job and leave with their picture completed.

You will also see Frank charges the same rate for all his frames, unless a client goes in for something really exclusive and expensive.
Note he also quotes for mounts, frames and glazing separately. This is because some pictures - such as oil paintings, do not always require a mount, or for that matter glass. The result is no-one pays for more than they need.
