General Sir Richard McCreery - The Last Great Cavalryman

This talk by the author, Richard Mead, will take place in St. John's Church, Horsington, on Sunday 10th March at 4.00pm.

It should be of interest to many people who enjoy military history, with the personal addition that, on his retirement, General Sir Richard McCreery came to live in Horsington with his wife and family until his death in 1967.

His wife lived on there for many years and he has family still living in Horsington.

The talk will be followed by a cream tea.

We have found that a talk on a Sunday afternoon, followed by a cream tea, is an excellent formula and we cordially invite as many as possible to come and hear this talk.
