Get Shot - Portrait Photography and Photography for the Wincanton Window by John Baxter
Getting the Wincanton Window going as editor and sometimes reporter is fascinating and exciting. For me this comes after years writing for the Journal and working as a professional photographer. Not surprisingly I am also taking a good number of photos for the WW.
In this first year there is no charge if you ask me to come and take some photographs for you for a WW Contribution. I do this so we can establish a professional image. However, if you would like to order prints of any of my images, a 7"x5" print in a folder is £10. Half of such fees I keep to cover costs, half is paid into the WW account (We need all the donations we can get).
To order send your name, email and telephone number together with cash or a cheque made out to J.J.Baxter. Describe the image you want giving the date and sector it has been posted in and send it in a sealed envelope to the Town Council Office clearly labelled Wincanton Window. Photo Order for John Baxter. I will email when your order is ready for collection at the Council Office.
What about a Portrait Session? I specialise in individual, family and special occasion portraits taken in your own home or in an environment of your choice. This gives the images a sense of place and encourages you and your family to feel relaxed. Often I find I am booked by a grandparent who organises a get together of children and grandchildren. I then come to your home and take a wide combination of individual and group shots. You can then choose to have these to view on a CD, as high quality prints, or in any combination.
