Give Blood – Friday 19th September

None of us know when we or those closest to us may need a life-saving blood transfusion while undergoing an operation, and here in Britain we have the best system which is to rely on willing, healthy volunteers who donate freely rather than the poor and desperate who sell their plasma.

If you have not done this before, now is the time to start as more donors are badly needed.

The whole process is pleasant, comfortable and highly professional and even ends with a free cuppa and biscuit!

The NHS team will be in the Memorial Hall, Wincanton from 1.15pm – 3.15pm and then 4.45pm to 7.15pm on Friday 19th September.
