Believe in the Magic – Henstridge Christmas Market on 29th November

Henstridge's Believe in the Magic of Christmas Market is being held again this year at Gartell's light railway, Yenston, Templecombe on Saturday 29 November, from 12.00pm – 2.00pm. There will be plenty of entertainment for children and adults alike.

Hosted by the PTFA of St Nicholas School, Henstridge, we are raising money for Macmillan Cancer support, the Dorset and Somerset Air ambulance and school projects. At this poignant time of year, we would like to support other charities as well as raising money for the school. So many people locally will have benefitted from the services of these two very important charities.

There will be a Santa train and children can collect a gift from Santa in his sitting room. Get ready for Christmas and post your wish lists here. Jump on the Blackmore Vale Lion's sleigh which will be starting its annual seasonal tour here. Wave to Claude the Climb Aboard bear on the platform.

There will be In excess of 35 trade stalls, which include local art, craft, jewellery, beauty products, bespoke gifts and local produce to buy that unique Christmas gift for loved ones.

The Bearcat collective will be providing hands-on fun with children's arts and crafts, storytelling and live music. Alfredo el Mago will be performing his magical pirate show. Lots of fun can be had at Scotty’s Circus Skills workshop. There will be a bouncy castle, mini-waltzer and lots of other fun games, raffle and tombolas.

Ironman will be meeting and greeting local super-heros. Hot food, soups, mulled wine, ice creams and sweet delights will be available in between entertainment. There will be plenty of other surprises during the afternoon so come along and have a fun-filled afternoon.
