Join the Friends of Verrington Hospital

The Friends of Verrington are a group of volunteers that foster and maintain the interest of the public for your local Hospital.

For this we need to raise funds and this we do in a variety of ways  but  we are always open to new suggestions so that we can provide facilities, equipment and support for the hospital. We are also there to help patients, staff and those in need within the community.

Fund raising can take many forms, we try to hold a big summer event annually, sometimes a Garden Barbecue. or Hog-roast. We hold a Summer Fete in the Hospital grounds every year and  we organise an occasional  Dinner/Dance.

Coffee Mornings, Quiz nights etc. are also popular but for all this we do need some active people!

New members are always welcome and, as we increase the level of support given to the Hospital and  local community, this becomes more and more vital. All offers of help in fundraising or helping at fund raising events would be greatly welcomed.
