Men's Health Information Evening - 25th May

The Wincanton Patient Participation Group is holding another Patient Information Evening on Wednesday 25th May at the Memorial Hall beginning at 7.00pm. The subject is Men's Health and Prostate Cancer in particular. This disease has become so very common amongst middle aged men.

Early detection can eradicate it or keep it in check. Finding out about it too late can be fatal. Many men will have it and never know it throughout their lifetime. And some men will escape altogether. This is an opportunity to find out the facts from a Urology team from Yeovil District Hospital and admission is free. This is a subject about which patients can be quite sensitive and the object of the evening is to give a measured and informative presentation.
