Milborne Port Opera Tickets Now Available 24/7
Milborne Port Opera has catapulted itself into the 21st century with a new online booking system.
Audiences for the next show, Gilbert & Sullivan’s The Sorcerer (Milborne Port Village Hall, April 13th-16th) can book using credit or debit cards 24 hours a day, 7 days a week.
MPO hopes the new system will be a great improvement on the previous one, which relied on volunteers taking bookings on a mobile phone, with the inevitable poor reception and availability issues.
“We hope our audience will find the new internet-based system much easier and simpler. Most entertainments now use online booking, and people are now very familiar with this way to buy seats.”
- Richard Gaunt, MPO member heading up the project
Milborne Port Opera’s regular outlets, Waynes Butchers and the Milborne Port Post Office, will continue to sell tickets over the counter. And the box office phone will continue for those unable to book by any other method.
