Mind in Somerset’s Driving Challenge and Family Fun Day
Test your driving skills and bring the family for a fun-filled day of activities at Mind in Somerset’s Driving Challenge and Family Fun Day.
Mind in Somerset’s main fundraising event of the year is taking place at Henstridge Airfield on 6th July 2019, 9:30am till 5pm. The Driving Challenge and Family Fun Day is an opportunity to test your driving skills on a range of vehicles against other competitors, as well as have a fun-packed day with the family. All the money raised will help Mind in Somerset continue to support people experiencing poor mental health in the local community.
For those not competing there will still be lots to do including an inflatable assault course, arts and crafts, tombola, face painting and static displays of military and vintage vehicles.
Driving Challenge competitors get the chance to drive at least three vehicles. This could be anything including HGVs, double-decker buses, black cabs, farming vehicles, forklift trucks and much more! When you arrive you’ll need to register and show your driving licence. You’ll then be scored for your skills in each vehicle with the chance of winning a top prize. Here's the full list of vehicles that will be available to choose from.
