Two Boots Are Better Than One

[EDITOR: Actually, all this happened way back in September of 2009, but for various reasons the article didn't get to us until now. Better late than never, though, eh?]

It may have rained today, but all the staff at the newest local Boots Pharmacy were full of joy and pride as special guest Dr Bob Jones cut the ribbon to let the customers into this new, bright and refreshed Boots pharmacy. Dr. Jones has been a major presence in Wincanton for many years helping to build our local medical practice and helping to bring his fair share of healing and special deliveries to Wincanton. He said he can't believe that he retired 8 years ago. He is thoroughly enjoying retirement and manages to only work four days a week. I think someone needs to explain to Dr. Bob what retirement means. We are most grateful to have had Dr. Jones officially open our newest Boots today. It may not be a large shop, but it contains three vital ingredients.

1. Shelves full of excellent healthcare products offering great value for money, all backed by Boots, the UK's largest pharmacy-led health and beauty retailer. The customers are at the heart of their business and committed to providing exceptional customer and patient care thanks to their expert, friendly staff.
2. A young client-friendly pharmacist in the form of Gill who delights in caring for all her clients' medicinal requirements via prescription and also able to give solid advice concerning the wide range of "over-the-counter" and healthcare products available there.
3. Great shop assistants who are well known for their cheery disposition. If they don't stock a particular item within the shop, they will have delight in obtaining it for the customer as they are now able to dip into Boots' much larger resources. They are there to help their customers look and feel better than they ever thought possible!

My mother always said that the best things come in wee packages, and that is definitely the case with Boots Pharmacy, Market Place. Come and visit the team and discuss your needs. They will always do their very best to help you.

Maybe Boots is offering a scooter hire service. Now there's a thought.
