Pilgrim Singers Concert for Marie Curie Cancer Care
Saturday 10th December in Wincanton Parish Church at 7.00pm
The Pilgrim Singers invite you to our concert to raise awareness and funds for the valuable work that Marie Curie Cancer Care do to support those with cancer. We hope to give you an entertaining evening of music and song to evoke a little Christmas spirit.
Marie Curie Cancer Care is a wonderful charity providing practical and emotional support for terminally ill patients, their carers and families. They support patients in making informed choices in all aspects of their care. Marie Curie Nursing is always free of charge to patients and carers.
There will be a lovely programme of music and songs, a glass of wine and nibbles. Tickets are priced at £8 and children's entry is free, all proceeds going straight to Marie Curie Cancer Care.
Annually Marie Curie healthcare professionals work through the night and day to provide end-of-life care to over 31,000 terminally ill patients in the comfortable and familiar surroundings of their own homes or in hospices. In addition to some government funding, they rely on the goodwill and charity of volunteers and donations to carry out this essential work.
The Pilgrim Singers would love to have your support. Tickets are available from the Parish Office in Wincanton High Street, from choir members and on the door. For further information ring 01963 33695.
