International Experience
Adrian's business experience is extensive both in and out of the field of HR and includes Managing Director of Training Systems International, a British Training and HR Consultancy with offices in Libya, UK, Malta, Libya, the Caribbean, Saudi Arabia and Dubai.
Until 1998, Adrian had an extensive career within sales, marketing and management within world-class companies such as Duracell, Ever Ready and Crookes Healthcare and whilst still in his 30's he took up the role of Sales and Marketing Director within Bunzl PLC, a FTSE 100 company where he lead a large sales and marketing team from which he developed a keen interest in strategic Human Resource Management.
Management Development
To enable him to pursue a career within people development, Adrian set up his own UK management training company in 1998, specialising in the development of junior and middle managers. This in turn allowed him to create a specialist recruitment and selection company focussing on the search for high quality young managers for corporate clients. Adrian is an Institute of Leadership & Management approved trainer.
Libya
Following Tony Blair's visit to Libya in 2004, Adrian took a plane to Tripoli to see for himself what opportunities lay there for a successful British management training company which by this time he owned and ran. His first visit opened up a number of new opportunities and from those small beginnings he went on to develop the largest independent training organisation in Libya whose clients included BP, Shell and ExxonMobil, and where today, is still the only foreign owned training company operating in the country.
After 5 years of living and working in Libya, pretty much on a full-time basis, Adrian has recently returned to the UK and seeing an opportunity within the local area to help local businesses effectively handle their HR commitments.
Today, local clients can now have access to an experienced and commercial HR and training professional with international experience. Chartered MCIPD qualified and a specialist in Employment Law and succession planning, Adrian has a wealth of experience in assisting small and medium sized businesses with their HR needs, offering unlimited telephone advice for a small monthly fixed fee, backed-up with on-site visits and project management as and when clients request it.
