Singer Songwriter Reg Meuross to Perform in Castle Cary
On Saturday 19th November there is an opportunity to see acclaimed English singer songwriter, Reg Meuross at Caryford Community Hall, performing the beautiful and well crafted songs from his latest album "December" as well as some old favourites.
Considered by many to be one of the best UK songwriters, his live solo performances are known for their extraordinary intimacy.
Reg is a true modern day troubadour, representing contemporary English folk writing at its best, who comments on life as he sees it, with some of the most beautifully disarming songs and lyrics ever written.
He captivates audiences with his beautiful tenor voice, winning Best Male Vocalist 2013 Fatea, and FolkWords Best Album 2014 for his previous album "England Green & England Grey".
Reg loves to play throughout the year, in venues small or large: folk clubs, house concerts, arts centres. Festival appearances have included Cropredy, Cambridge Folk Festival, Folk on the Coast, Great British Folk Festival, Auckland Folk Festival, Illawarra Folk Festival (Australia) and he is the patron artist of Priston Folk Festival.
Tickets £10.00 (£12.00 on the door). Doors and bar open at 6.45pm. The performance will begin at 7.30pm.
Caryford Community Hall, Maggs Lane, Castle Cary BA7 7JJ.
