Spectra Musica presents “All the pleasures prove”
“All the pleasures prove” is full of songs to delight you. A Nightingale Sang in Berkeley Square, In Beauty May I Walk and Orpheus and His Lute. We will also bring you two beautiful works by Welsh composer Morfydd Owen - a possible English premier, Sweet and Low and her Fierce Raged the Tempest O'er the Deep, which was never actually published. Other works to enjoy are by Parry, Rutter, Chilcott and Sterndale Bennett.
The evening will be led by our talented Musical Director Peter Leech and concert pianist Anita D'Attellis will feature throughout the evening.
Join us on Saturday 30th March at 7:30pm at the Church of St Luke and St Teresa in Wincanton. Tickets, priced £12 and including refreshments during the interval, are available from 01963 350160, or on the door.
