Sunday Market is on the Move – But Not Too Far

With successive markets the Wincanton Town Team has gathered information from shoppers and stall-holders. Taking that information on board they have decided to move the market back to the original site in the Carrington Way car park for the November and December markets.

Stephanie Ball (market co-ordinator) said that shoppers and stall-holders alike felt that the first three markets held in the car park created a mini-village sort of atmosphere with a buzz that was enjoyed by all.

For the November market Stephanie has bookings from over thirty stalls with a slight emphasis on gift-style products with Christmas in mind. To help make the occasion go with a swing, Stevie P., a very talented and exciting young singer from Yeovil will be performing a popular selection of songs, and The Dance Studio from Church Street, Wincanton will be supplying a face painter.

There will only be one more market before Christmas after this week on Sunday 21st December.
