The Engine Room Pops-Up in Wincanton
The Engine Room, a popular community media centre based in Bridgwater, is taking its regular activities on the road through a series of ‘pop-ups’ and next on the itinerary is Wincanton. The Engine Room is dedicated to empowering people through film and digital media and is managed by the charity Somerset Film.
From Monday 14th March 2016 The Engine Room will be taking up residence in various locations including Wincanton Library and the Balsam Centre, with a programme of support, workshops, screenings and installations to help you get creative.
Producer Deb Richardson said, “We’re conscious that not everyone can get to Bridgwater to access our services so we’re hoping that this could become a regular event in Wincanton. We’d encourage anyone who is interested in film and digital media to pop into one of our sessions to find out more about the sorts of activities we offer.”
