Love cheese? You'll love The Truckle Truck
You might have seen The Truckle Truck travelling around the area over the last few months. We're certainly hard to miss! Susie, a bright and very beautiful Citroen HY van, is 50 years old, but she's been given a new lease of life as a travelling cheese shop.
The counter is always stocked with the very best, from local favourites like Cheddar, Dorset Blue Vinney or Renegade Monk, to exceptional cheese from across the Channel (including a very special Gorgonzola Dolce that some of you might have been pining for...).
It's not just cheese on-board, though. We carry a small but varied range of chutneys, pickles, biscuits and gifts, too; everything you need to go with your cheese.
Sound good? Well, since 24th October, we've been coming to Wincanton every Thursday. You can find us in the Memorial Hall car park between 10am and 3pm. You might have to follow your nose to track us down if we're tucked away, but as long as it's not raining, we'll be there!
[UPDATE: 15/11/2019] We take card payments too (even American Express) so you can always get your cheesey fix! Also, you're always welcome to order online for collection on Thursdays, or for delivery if you can't wait that long.
