Wincanton Weight Loss Club posterThis twelve week Health and Nutrition Course is designed for people who would like to learn more about food and eating healthily.

If you are interested in what you should be eating, how much of it you should eat, and why, then this course is for you. The emphasis is on becoming healthier and in doing so losing weight, having more energy, looking younger and feeling fantastic!!

There is a different nutritional topic taught each week, and the information is then personalised for each member so it can be applied to everyday life. For example, everybody needs to eat the correct amount of protein for their body every day. Protein will keep you full up for longer and help your body to retain muscle and burn fat - it is also the building blocks of life and we have to eat the right amount as our bodies depend upon it to grow and repair. After the nutritional topic is discussed, each member has their protein allowance worked out for them, and receive help devising an eating plan ensuring they consume the correct amount.

This is how the course progresses and at the end of twelve weeks members have created twelve new healthy eating habits and changed the way they eat, helping them to maintain weight loss and live a healthier lifestyle.
