Theft of Generator from Building Development

Overnight on Wednesday 16/2/11 a Step Hill, blue 6KVA generator was stolen from the Kingwell Rise Building Development off Deansley Way, Wincanton.

We believe entry was gained via the field to the rear of the development. PC Andrew Brown says, 'Thefts like these can cause a great deal of disruption at the construction site. All identifying marks for the property are known, making it difficult to re-sell. Anybody being offered what appears to be cheap items such as these should be aware they may be handling stolen property'.
