Treasure Hunt in Charlton Horethorne
On Sunday 26th July intrepid adventurers of all ages will have the opportunity to take part in an exciting treasure hunt on foot around the leafy lanes of Charlton Horethorne, looking for house names which match the cryptic clues they are given
The hunt starts at Charlton Horethorne Village Hall from 2.00pm onwards and cream teas will be served in the Village Hall from 3.00pm onwards. The walk will take about 45 minutes, but it depends on how quickly you can decipher the dastardly clues!
The entry fee is £5 for adults and £2.50 for under 16s, which includes the treasure hunt and the cream tea. No need to book, just turn up and pay!
All profits go to the upkeep of the Village Hall, which is a former World War I Army Hut from Salisbury Plain, purchased from the War Office for £90 in 1923. Of course it’s been updated since then and now boasts up-to-date facilities of every kind.
