Panto is back! WADS presents “Robin Hood & the Babes in the Wood”
Wincanton Amateur Dramatic Society is pleased to announce that panto is back. Oh no it isn’t. OH YES IT IS! And what a treat we have in store for you this year.
Robin Hood & the Babes in the Wood has been two years in the making. Written by Ben Crocker and Directed by Sarah Adams with assistant director Jayne Bentley it’s an incredibly funny panto brought to life by a dedicated cast and crew.
With just a couple of weeks to go we are all so excited to be finally reaching panto weekend. Set in Nottingham, Robin Hood and his friends take you on a fantastic journey to defeat the Sheriff and rescue the lovely Maid Marion. If you want to find out whether the rabbits end up in a pie or what crazy antics take place at Winnie’s school, the Memorial Hall really is the place to be.
We have three showings of our panto this year. Friday 25th February at 7:30pm and Saturday 26th February at 2pm and 7:30pm. Tickets are Adults £10 and Children/concessions £5. Our booking number is 07807331750 or tickets can be purchased online at ticketsource.co.uk. Booking is advised but not essential.
We cannot wait to be back up on stage doing what we do best. PANTO!
