Welcome to Wincanton Window

Welcome to the start up of Wincanton Window, WW for short. As a non-profit community web magazine we have a long way to go to get everyone on board and to see what a real community resource the WW can be.

For every club, society, sport, activity or interest group in Wincanton or the surrounding villages, setting up a page is free – all we ask is that it must be kept up to date- or we will have to remove it for out of date material is the pits on web sites. A small voluntary contribution from such bodies however – would be appreciated.

The same goes for shops and businesses. Your entries will be free for the first year. After that when our initial start up grant runs out, we will need support – either in the form of a donation or for flagging up adverts. This will be discussed but should not be expensive.  Our aim is to cover costs, not make profits.

For the next year until September  2010 you have the opportunity of FREE COVERAGE AND ADVERTISING OF YOUR GOODS AND SERVICES AND OF A LINK TO YOUR WEB-SITE. Is this an offer you can afford not to make the most of? Again all we ask is you keep your contribution up to date with news of anything new or special you are doing. Remember the better the WW becomes  and the more hits it attracts, the higher becomes the “visible profile” of the town and the surrounding area. This should bring more people to your business.
