Be a Wincanton Knitwit and help brighten up the town
We are looking for people of all ages who would like to make pompoms, crochet flowers or knitted squares to be stitched together and places around town to add a bit of colour and to make people smile on their daily walk.
You could use your own yarn art, flowers or pompoms to decorate your gates, trees and fences, or display in a window at your home. If you knit or crochet, this is a great way to use up your stash. If you would like to join in but don't have needles or wool, we may be able to help.
Take this time to learn a new craft. Become a Knitwit! Go to Wincanton Seed Market on Facebook for inspiration. We'll be sharing tutorials on how to knit, crochet and make pompoms.
The SEED Market team is working on lots more ideas that wil lbe launched over the coming weeks.
