Wincanton Silver Band Spring Concert 2019 - Music from the Movies

Wincanton Silver Band is putting on a Spring Concert this Sunday, 28^th of April, presenting ‘Music from the Movies’.

The concert will be held in the Wincanton Memorial Hall at 3pm, with tickets costing £6 on the door which will include refreshments, popcorn and an afternoon of entertainment from movies old and new. Movies including Singing in the Rain, Les Misérables, Pirates of the Caribbean and Mr Blue Sky from the recent film Guardians of the Galaxy Volume 2, as well as many more.

We have recently appointed a new conductor who has provided a fresh start for the band with new music to play and an enthusiasm to perform regularly to the general public in and around Wincanton. We are very pleased with how the band is performing; pushing ourselves to execute harder music so that we can incorporate a greater variety of pieces into our programmes. We only hope the public can enjoy themselves as much as we do.
