Wincanton Town Council 2021 by-election candidates
On Thursday 6th May 2021 there will be a Wincanton Town Council by-election to fill 6 vacancies. It has been arranged to coincide with the election of the Police and Crime Commissioner for Avon and Somerset police area. The candidates who will appear on the ballot are listed below.

The polling station for Wincanton is Wincanton Memorial Hall (BA9 9JF) which will be open from 7am until 10pm.
If you have registered for a postal vote you will have already received your paperwork. If you choose to vote in person you should have been sent a poll card. If you have lost your card or have not received one you can still attend to vote, providing you are registered.
When you arrive at the Polling Station you will be asked for your name and address. You are encouraged to take your own pen or pencil and you are required to wear a mask and adhere to current guidance on social distancing. Hand sanitiser will be available, surfaces will be wiped down, screens will be up between staff and voters and a one way system will be in place.
You’ll be given a ballot paper for each of the votes taking place containing a list of the people you can vote for.
