Wincanton Toys – A New Home Grown Business in Town

Katie Thomas has been a resident of Wincanton since 2000. She and her husband Daniel have two lovely wee boys. Till recently Katie was employed with another High Street business and Daniel is the office manager at Palmer Snell Estate Agents Wincanton Branch.

However, Katie has joined a growing section of our local population. She’s decided to swap employment for self-employment.

Katie has opened a new business called Wincanton Toys, stocking new and quality used toys for babies through to older children, plus confectionery, at affordable prices for everyone.

Since leasing the shop she has been working flat out to bring it all together to open for business. The first day of business was today, Saturday 12th April, from 10.00am till 3.00pm. Wincanton Toys can be found at:

The normal opening hours will be:

Monday – Friday 9.00am – 4:30pm
Saturday – 10.00am – 3.00pm

This is really good news for Wincanton another new shop in the high street. I hope it all goes well for Katie and the locals support her in her new venture.
