Steve Stapleton, owner of Wincanton Wholefoods, has announced his business will close its doors for the last time at end-of-day on 27th October.

Steve has been a part of Wincanton's high street life for many years, originally taking over an existing pick ‘n’ mix business. Soon after, he took the decision to move into the health food sector, gaining the relevant qualifications to allow him to advise his clientele. Since that time he has built up a strong, well supported business.

Having worked hard throughout the years, Steven was nearing retirement age and by co-incidence his shop lease was also nearing its end. He felt that this was the ideal and sensible time to make the transition to retirement. Steve is very much looking forward to his retirement, and we’re sure that all his clients would want to wish him all the very best.

If you are, or have been a customer at Wincanton Wholefoods, and especially if you have one of Steve’s loyalty cards, make sure to pay at least one final visit to stock up on your favourite products, and use up your loyalty points.

So sad Steve is going. His shop is very special and we will miss it. However, I wish him and his wife a long and happy retirement just down the road in Wiltshire.
