Women In Business - Wincanton Networking Group
WIBN is a Business Networking organisation for women only. It is a network created to offer all business women the opportunity to meet like-minded women, once a month, at our facilitated network meetings.
The Wincanton branch of WIBN meets locally once a month for a sociable lunch and business networking at The Montague Inn, Shepton Montague.
There is a wide diversity of professions within our membership ranging from sole traders to large business concerns. Once launched, we are a one profession per group organisation.
Our meetings are supportive, encouraging and non-competitive. Before becoming a member, we’d encourage you to experience a WIBN meeting as a visitor. Take a look at the list of members currently part of the Wincanton branch - if your profession is not already listed, why not come along and see what we have to offer you?
If your profession is already taken at Wincanton you are welcome to visit other groups with that professional vacancy within the South/South West area.
Here are just some of the benefits to being a member of the Women in Business Network.
- Opportunities to meet new business contacts, leads, clients, customers
- Help eliminate the need to cold call
- Provide opportunities to promote your services/products
- Enable you to meet owners or decision makers from many other businesses
- Allow you to share and gain knowledge, expertise and contacts
- Give an opportunity to exchange ideas and experiences with others
- Meet potential service providers
- Form strategic alliances
Wincanton WIBN member, Mandy Cochrane, who runs an internet marketing business locally and is editor of Wincanton Window says, “I’ve made lots of useful contacts from WIBN in a short time and it’s already resulted in new work. As a member, I can also visit other groups in the area and all the meetings fit within school hours too, which helps me enormously.”
