Would You Like to Join Wincanton Choral Society?
The Wincanton Choral Society is a large (100+), high quality, amateur community choir led by a professional musical director, Simon Twistelton. Membership is open to all who enjoy choral singing (there are no auditions). The Choir rehearses in King Arthur’s School, Wincanton once a week for two hours on a Monday evening and performs in the Sports Hall of the adjacent Wincanton Leisure Centre.
The Society presents two concerts each year – one just before Christmas and the second in May. The Society’s season runs from September to May. Music is provided free of charge from the Library.
The WCS Christmas concert – a Feast of Festive Music including seasonal music and Carols – will take place on Sunday 13th December 2015. Rehearsals start on Monday 7th September at 7.15pm in King Arthur’s School.
