Business Views Sought for Neighbourhood Plan DEADLINE EXTENDED

[UPDATE:] The deadline for survey submissions has been extended to Sunday 5th April.

The Wincanton Neighbourhood Plan Steering Group is appealing to the local business community for help to ensure that their aspirations for growth, and future requirement for premises, are taken into account when the plan is drafted.

Wincanton businesses can complete a short online survey at https://www.surveymonkey.com/s/3FXHFJQ. Responses will inform the Plan in how the town should develop to support existing companies and attract new ones.

The closing date for survey responses is Sunday 29th March 5th April.

Undertaking a Neighbourhood Plan gives residents and local businesses an opportunity to influence how the town will develop over the next 10-15 years. Identifying the challenges for businesses and demand for new workspace is a key piece of evidence the Plan needs.

The Steering Group intends to hold an evening meeting in April to present the findings and give local businesses an opportunity to discuss issues and ask questions.

Please like this article and share it with everyone you know who owns, or runs a business in Wincanton. All businesses, whether in the High Street, on Industrial Estates, or Home Based, as long as they are in the Wincanton area, are invited to complete the survey, so that the new Neighbourhood Plan will take their views into account.
