Concert by Bruton School for Girls at Wincanton Parish Church
The Students at Bruton School for Girls gave a concert in Wincanton Parish Church on the evening of Wednesday 5th May. All the proceeds from this concert were for the Church Funds.
The first half featured the school's junior choir, string quartet, baroque group and orchestra as well as solos from Tina Mok (piano), Emily Thomas (clarinet) and a duet from Hannah Sharp and Abi Rossiter (voice).
After an interval the school's senior choir led the way, with a composition from student Catherine Leung being followed by further voice solo's from Jo Wright and Rebecca Turner. The concert which was well supported by local townsfolk concluded with the school orchestra.
