Horsington Primary School Sporting Success

On March 19th the Wincanton Federation of Schools held its annual cross country at King Arthurs School. Horsington did very well. We took first place with our year 3/4 girls team; second place with our Year 3/4 boys team and second place with our Year 5/6 girls team. We also had three medals winners.

We also will be sending 14 out of the 40 children to represent our Federation at the area cross country competition being held at Montacute House. Our pupils have done extremely well considering we are a small school.

We've also done extremely well at the Basketball Tournament, taking first place! Their medals unfortunately went astray and so they were awarded at our school the following week. Well done to the team who worked very well together.
