How to kick cancer in Winky this week

This week is another busy one for Winky Kicks Cancer.

Tonight, Thursday 6th July, Winky Kicks Cancer presents Comedy Kicks Cancer, a special fundraising event at The Nog Inn (check out the event on Facebook). Tickets are £15 and include a pulled pork bap, and all proceeds go to Winky Kicks Cancer. The evening starts at 7:30pm, so make sure you get your ticket this afternoon if you can. They're selling out quick.

MC for the night will be David Tsonos, and his line-up kicks off with comedian Alex Perry followed by Cressida Wetton and Michael Hackett. The headline act for the evening will be Stephen Carlin. “His brand of deadpan wit is well overdue widespread recognition.” - Broadway Baby.

On Saturday 8th July the annual Winky Kicks Cancer sponsored walk will start from Uncle Tom’s Cabin at 12 noon. This year’s event comes with an interesting, nay, crazy twist. Walkers will be pushing a Renault Clio from Uncle Tom’s to the recently opened Smithy at Charlton Musgrove, and back!

Finally, if anyone has any energy left after that ordeal, the day will end with the Winky Kicks Cancer karaoke evening in Uncle Tom’s Cabin between 8:30pm and 11:30pm. Come along and embarrass yourself, £1 a go.
