Join Wincanton Town Team for the Great Spring Clean

Wincanton Town Team is organising a Spring Clean Wincanton weekend, on Saturday and Sunday, 23rd and 24th May.

The event is inspired by the success of Liskeard’s Big Clean Up a couple of years ago, and follows the awarding of Portas Pilot money to improve Wincanton High Street.

The aim of the Spring Clean weekend is to involve as many people as possible – trades people, businesses, shop-keepers, residents, schools, voluntary groups and “those who just want to put some love and attention back into the High Street,” says the Town Team.

There are many individuals and groups who already work to help the town and this is an opportunity for everyone to come together for two days to really make a difference.

The Town Team wants to make the event as much fun as possible and have arranged catering and refreshments – but they would love to have some musicians to make the whole weekend go with a swing!
