Just Dance Wincanton Holds Successful Charity Danceathon
Just Dance in Wincanton, owned by Emma Cowin, recently took part in a national fundraising event for Save The Children - a five hour long sponsored Danceathon!
It was great to see so many Just Dance students take part in this event, held at The Honbu in Wincanton.
Everyone who took part had a fantastic time and students parents and relatives all joined in to make it a great afternoon. A total of £574.75 was raised for the charity through sponsorship, raffle tickets and a cake stall.
The sessions were set up so each age group and dance style would have a chance to take the floor during the afternoon, but in the end, everyone was having so much fun we had students of all ages dancing together.
The dance school offers expert tuition in ballet, tap, street dance, musical theatre and adult dance sessions. The school recently achieved great results in the ISTD ballet exams.
