Premier League Football Training Dates in Wincanton

The Wincanton Sports Ground Management has just concluded a deal with Arsenal Football Club to use our site for one of Arsenal's Soccer Schools. We recently hosted a "Youth Soccer School/Skills" all day soccer school during half term week, but other training events are detailed below.

You can book online with Arsenal Soccer School South West (limited spaces, so booking is essential).

This is an ideal opportunity for young footballers from Wincanton, Bruton, and Castle Cary, and villages to take advantage of this professional skills training courtesy of one of the UK's top premier league teams.

The following courses might be of interest:

• Goalkeeping course, Monday evenings. This starts on 5th November playing on the astro-turf pitch with floodlights, and will be running for five weeks. This will be for boys and girls from 7 to 12 years. The cost for this will be £4.00 per session and must be pre-booked.
• Friday evenings the Teenage Gunners under 18s will taking place on the astro-turf from 7.30pm to 8.30pm, commencing on 9th November. Cost £4.00 per session, pre-booking essential.
• Disabled football time/date to be arranged.
• Saturday mornings starting 10th November we have Mini Gunners for boys and girls 3 to 6 years old in the Maddocks Pavillion. This will run for five weeks and cost £4.00 per session. Pre-booking is essential.
• Saturday morning is also a chance for the 5 to 12 year old girls and boys to join in with the Saturday morning soccer skills from 9.30am - 10.30am in the Maddocks Pavillion. Cost £4 per session, pre-booking essential.
